وی بیان داشت: در پی دریافت خبری مبنی بر ورود یك باند تهیه و توزیع مواد مخدر به همراه مقادیر زیادی تریاك و حشیش به خوزستان، مأموران پلیس مبارزه با مواد مخدر موضوع را در دستور كار خود قرار دادند.

فرمانده انتظامی خوزستان افزود: مأموران پلیس با تحقیقات فراوان و شناسایی خودرو و محور ورود به استان و شهرستان اهواز در معابر و ورودی شهر استقرار یافتند.

اسحاقی ادامه داد: ماموران پلیس پس از حضور در مسیر ورود خودروی مذكور پس از مشاهده خودرو دستور ایست دادند كه راننده خودرو از دستور پلیس سرپیچی كرد و به حركت خود ادامه داد اما مأموران در اقدامی غافلگیرانه پس از چند دقیقه تعقیب و گریز، خودروی مذكور را متوقف كردند.

وی گفت: پس از توقیف، خودروی مذكور مورد بازرسی قرار گرفت كه سرانجام 299 كیلوگرم مواد مخدر از نوع حشیش و 19 كیلوگرم تریاك در داخل خودرو كشف شد.

فرمانده انتظامی خوزستان با اشاره به دستگیری راننده و سرنشین خودرو خاطر نشان كرد: تلاش برای شناسایی و دستگیری دیگر اعضای باند ادامه دارد و دستگیر شدگان با تشكیل پرونده به مراجع قضایی معرفی شدند.
